Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are approaching, in order to let students spend a safe and happy holiday and enhance their safety precautionary awareness and risk avoidance ability, on the afternoon of September 27, the School of Marxism of NPU held a meeting on safety education and sharing of postgraduates' exchange projects to overseas before National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, which was held in the 207 Lecture Theatre of the School. All the students of the School of Marxism and Gao Hongbo, counsellor of doctoral students, Wang Chang, counsellor of master's students, and Zhang Yichen, secretary of foreign affairs of the School of Marxism, attended the meeting, which was presided over by Li Gang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School.

At the beginning of the conference, Li Gang conveyed the relevant notice requirements of the party committee student work department of the school and emphasised safety protection during the holiday. He proposed that students go out to strictly implement the procedures for requesting and cancelling leave, and follow the process of doing everything. For the holiday traffic safety, dietary safety, psychological safety, activity safety, network security and other aspects of the problems that are likely to arise, he combined detailed cases to explain, and asked students to constantly improve their own safety awareness and protection ability.

Afterwards, to help students understand the related matters of studying and exchanging abroad, Zhang Yichen, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the School, gave systematic counselling and propaganda to students on the exchange programmes and declaration process for postgraduates to go abroad. Zhang Yichen said that students who plan to go abroad, should make good preparations in advance and improve their ability, to create more choices and possibilities.

Finally, on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, the school insisted on taking students as the root, caring for the students, and the school issued gifts of Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes and fruits for all the students, wishing all of them a happy double festival, which embodied the caring feelings of the school for the students, and also strengthened the students' sense of well-being and sense of belonging.
