NPU News, September 10 (Du Yao, Photographer Lu Di).On the morning of September 7, Zhang Wei,Chairman ofBoard of Trustees, held an on-site office meeting at School of Marxism to discuss and deploy the work of studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions and promoting the reform and innovation in ideological and political course. Chen Jianyou, Vice Chairman of Board of Trustees; Yang Xiao, Standing Committee Member of Board of Trustees and Director of Media Office of the NPU Committee of the CPC; and relevant staff of School of Marxism attended the meeting, which was presided over by Yang Yunxia, Dean of School of Marxism.

During the meeting, Wu Wenchuan, Party Secretary of School of Marxism, reported plans and measures of promoting the reform and innovation of ideological and political course from nine aspects, including the construction of teaching resources and the reform of teaching mode.The participants had an in-depth discussion.

Zhang Wei pointed out that we should earnestly study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, and promote the development of ideological and political course according to the report of President Wang Jinsong at the Cadre Conference in the new semester and the relevant documents and requirements of NPU,so as to continuously improve the construction of ideological and political course.
