On the afternoon of 23rd November 2023, members of the expert group of undergraduate education teaching audit and evaluation of the Ministry of Education, Wang Xiaofeng, former vice president of Beijing University of Technology, Dang Yuewu, director of the Academic Affairs Office of Sichuan University, and Li Fuqiang, head of the Teaching Assessment Section of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and other members of the group went to the School of Marxism for guidance and to carry out a discussion, to learn about the ideological and political theory course construction of the School of Marxism. Leaders of relevant departments of the university, members of the leadership team of the School of Marxism, and representatives of teachers and undergraduates of each department attended the research.

Wang Xiaofeng, Dang Yuewu and Li Fuqiang visited the cultural corridor of the School of Marxism and gained an in-depth understanding of the history, teaching and research achievements, and cultural construction of the School.

To enable the experts to have a clearer understanding of the ideological and political theory course construction of the School of Marxism, the School invited representatives of teachers from various departments and undergraduate students to have an in-depth discussion with the experts. The meeting was hosted by Pu Chuanxin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism.

Yang Yunxia, Dean of the School, reported that the Party Committee of the university has attached great importance to the construction and development of the School. Vice President He Miao reported to the experts on the history, discipline construction, the reform of the ideological and political theory course, faculty strength, talent attraction, scientific research and other aspects of the School, and fully exchanged with the experts to respond to the experts' concerns.

Afterwards, Wang Xiaofeng, Dang Yuewu and Li Fuqiang came to the Soaring Student Centre to watch the “Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" stage play rehearsal.

During the research visit, the experts examined the work of the School of Marxism in all aspects of ideological and political theory courses, as well as the overall development of the School, achievements and plans, and fully interacted with the teachers and student representatives on the spot.
