At 2:00 p.m. on September 26, Professor Fan Mingfang was invited by School of Marxism of NPU to give a lecture entitled 'The History and the Current of Sino-Russian Relations' for teachers and students in the 207 lecture Hall of the School.

Based on a grand historical perspective, Professor Fan elaborated on the development and evolution of Sino-Russian and Sino-Soviet relations in historical stages, clarified the context of major historical events in the history of Sino-Russian and Sino-Soviet relations, and analyzed the political relations between China and Russia after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. In the lecture, Professor Fan started from the simple to the deep, integrating a large number of cases to connect historical events. The wonderful lecture made the teachers and students present listen with rapt attention and relish.

Introduction of the Professor: Professor Fan Mingfang is a famous scholar in the field of the history of Sino-Russian relations in China. He used to be the second-level professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Marxism at NPU. He is also the vice president of the Sino-Russian Relations History Society, the director of the Sino-Foreign Relations History Society, and the vice president of the Shaanxi Provincial University Teaching Society of Modern and Modern Chinese History. He is mainly engaged in research on the history of China's modern and modern foreign relations and China's modern political history. Professor Fan Mingfang has won the Guo Moruo Chinese History Award, the Excellent Thesis Award of the Chinese Historical Society, the Shaanxi Provincial Government Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Shaanxi Provincial University Humanities and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award.
