In order to further create a strong atmosphere of international academic exchanges, to stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers and students to go abroad to exchange and study, and to extend their international vision, on the morning of 29 December 2023, Associate Professor Gong Shuyan of the School of Marxism brought a lecture entitled "How to Make 'Academic Voice' in International Conferences" - International Conference Paper Writing and Publication to teachers and students, which attracted many students and teachers to participate. The lecture centred on how to show academic strength, write papers, submit papers and share experiences at international conferences. Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of CPC committee, and Ma Jun, Assistant Dean, attended this seminar.

Taking "Analysis of Influential Factors on the Mobility of New Generation of Scientific and Technological Talents - Based on a Relevant Study in 12 Cities, including Xi'an" as the starting point, Associate Professor Gong Shuyan shared the tips and key points for writing papers for international conferences. She explained in depth how to find foreign literature and write high-quality papers, as well as how to find opportunities and unlock pathways for international conferences, providing valuable experience sharing and guidance for the teachers and students present.

In the last part of the exchange, Associate Professor Gong Shuyan shared her experience of attending the conference. She emphasised that attending international conferences is an important way to expand academic horizons and find new research paradigms and research hotspots. She talked about the importance of international exchanges with her own experience. Through exchanges and co-operation with foreign scholars, she promoted the collision of academic concepts and the sharing of academic resources, which provided valuable experience for further improving the academic level.

Teachers and students in the audience expressed that they had benefited a lot from the sharing of Associate Professor Gong Shuyan, which opened up new perspectives and provided new ideas for them to make their academic voices heard at international conferences，enhanced their enthusiasm and confidence in participating in international conferences and other international academic exchange activities.
